Don't Kill Jake Ballard

Hello Shonda. I hope you don't mind me saying this but I know you are or you've already killed @scottkfoley (Jake Ballard) of scandal. I know he and the amazing @kerrywashington have issues with each other. However, I don't think he should be killed off. I think of Kerry as a strong, confident, and opinionated role model. I would like to always see her in this light and not as another person who used their connections to get rid of someone. I know I could be  straight up out of line but I'm a say what you feel person. I think that a person's role as an actor is shown best when they can put aside their differences and work with those whom they truly dislike. Even if you're going to cut jake, don't kill him but give him the opportunity to return later on in the series. I know you must be thinking 'who the hell does she think she is', but I have a reason behind my plea for you to keep @scottkfoley. I see Olivia Pope's endgame as being the woman who finally gets the man (Tony Goldwyn), she has Vermont and she has jam, but she is not truly happy. She realises that she and fitz can't work and will never be able to. So she goes back to the man that loves her unconditionally, that loved her enough to let her go. That is true love.

Why? Because women need to value themselves and know side chicks will always be side chicks. It doesn't matter how you're so different, how much you 'change' him. He will either never leave his wife or he will leave you the way he met you. I think that's the message that should be vocalised to women, that instead of ruining a marriage they should focus on themselves and make something of themselves cause most likely the man being unfaithful to his wife isn't worth their time.                                                      Ms Rhimes you are a talented and powerful woman, and I think we all know you sure aren't stupid and don't stand for crap. I just plea that you see my point of view and don't kill @scottkfoley off the show. He and Kerry Washington need to swallow their prides and be civil or someone needs to step down.

I hope the people reading this can please repost it to get Ms Rhimes attention. Thank you

New Years Eve

Hello loves,
Today is quite a quick post. I know this is a bit late but I just wanted to show you what I'm wearing for New Year's Eve and hopefully give any of you last minute people like me ideas of what you can throw together quickly and still look somewhat fabulous.

I didn't want to wear a dress or skirt this year so I just threw on my dark wash jeans because I personally think they look more flattering on me and give the illusion that I have slimmer thighs. I think jeans with a nice top, maybe a sequinned top and a jacket or blazer of your choice is a nice and semi-formal look and it doesn't look like you're trying to much but you've still made an effort. I am going to a family party tonight and I can't wait to see all of you in 2014. 2013 has been a good year and I'm very grateful to have made it to the end of it and I just want to thank all my subscribers, my blog and you guys are one of  the best things that ever happened to me in 2013 and please be safe tonight and DO NOT DRINK AND DRIVE.
Here's to our 2014........

De La Rose Hair and Beauty

Hello loves, Today I'm writing about something a little different and I'm so excited. It's a hair post, it might not seem interesting to you but being an African girl I love my Afro hair. I love my weaves, braids and my natural hair. Today I just wanted to share with you this new salon I've discovered in Aberdeen. I normally like to change my hairstyle and I do this every 1-2 months. I live in Aberdeen,Scotland so sometimes it's a little difficult finding a good hairdresser that does African-American Hairstyles and also sells extensions, lace wigs etc... and products that cater to black people's hair

De la Rose Hair & Beauty is this amazing little salon tucked up on 64 Frederick Street in Aberdeen. They sell hair and beauty products and they are also hairdressers. This shop isn't just for Black women, it's for anyone interested in buying extensions, hair products,or doing an African-American Hairstyle.
I went to get my hair done and I decided to get Box Braids (blame it on Pinterest). The service I received there was amazing, the ladies were lovely and they didn't mind me asking them to turn up the heater and then turn it down 30 minutes later. The shop has a really nice atmosphere, they are very professional in the way they work. They try to please their customers and they check with you along the way to see if you're happy with what they are doing, they are also very friendly. It isn't one of those shops that you sit in the chair and you're too scared to say a word and it's so awkward, they chat with you and you just feel comfortable. The lady that did my hair was called Tayo and the lady that did my sisters hair was called Grace, I would recommend these ladies any day but all their staff are good.

De La Rose do adults and children's hair, these are the pictures of all the hairstyles they've made for me and my sister and I can personally say I've never had a problem with them and they are very affordable. If you live in Scotland and you're visiting Aberdeen or you live in Aberdeen then I'd say you should definitely check out their shop.

* This is not a sponsored post and that might be hard to believe because it looks like one. It isn't I just wanted to feature De La Rose on my blog because I love their shop and I wanted to share my experience with others. I am not getting anything from de la rose and I doubt they even know I wrote this post, but they did give me permission to take photos of their shop and products.

Maybelline Vs L'oreal

Hello everyone, today I'm going to share with you two drugstore foundations I've just discovered and I'm loving. I don't know what to call this post, but I guess it's a review/comparisons post.
The first foundation is the l'oreal true match and I have this in the shade Cappuccino which to start off I think is too light/orange for me. This foundation is a matte finish, so I'd definitely recommend it if you have oily skin. The true matte has so many shades in its range, so I'm pretty sure you'll find your one. And even though its matte it isn't drying just remember to moisture, I have dry skin and this doesn't dry me out and as the day goes on my natural oils shine. The coverage isn't full, you can see some of my spots still showing, it's what I call light to medium but it is buildable. I like this foundation

#BritishBloggersSelection ~ Favourite Make Up Brand

Hello, how has everyone's week been?  I know I said I would post at least twice this week but I had a series of tests and essays, Anyway on with the post, this week you have to choose a favorite make up brand and why. I found it really hard to choose just one so I'm going to cheat a bit and pick 2 brands.
I love sleek so much, their eye shadow palettes are so affordable and very pigmented. I think I really like sleek because they cater to darker skin tones and I always tend to go for their products over other brands. A few of my favourites from Sleek is their idivine eye shadow palettes and their Contour Kit

This is another favourite, it is definitely a new discovery for me. I haven't tried many of their products yet but its their Kate Collection Lipsticks that have certainly won me over, I look forward to trying their stay matte powder and other lipsticks from Rimmel.

What products are you loving from Sleek and Rimmel right now?
